So quiet!
Nice.

Perfect triangles!
3:11 PM
Great scene. The colors, the atmosphere, the stillness are all perfect.

There is a lovely feel to this photograpgh, cindy. The house has a uniquely ramshackle appearance and the reflection adds to this.
Good capture.
4:07 PM
Very nice photo. This reminds me of Gator an old Burt Reynolds movie.
6:04 PM
The reflection on the lake is fabulous!Wonderful capture!

Stunning my friend :)

Really like the feel of this photo. And almost a perfect mirror image, down to the gas can reflection! Such calm water makes for wonderful reflections. Kathy

Barbara- I noticed it one day while driving by with my bus. I had to wait for the water to be so still again and for when I had an empty bus so I could stop and take the picture.
Therese-it was early morning but there was someone up and about- he's in the far left of the photo.
Cieldequimper-I hadn't noticed how many there were till you mentioned it!
awarewriter-thank you,the very first time I noticed it, the water was absolutely dead calm and the reflection perfect, but I had a bus load of people. I had to wait and catch it another time when I had an empty bus, and this time the water was not quite as still but I thought it still looked pretty neat.
Julie-coming upon scenes like this was one of my favorite aspects of my job.
James- guess I have not seen that one, though I thought I had seen most of Burt Reynolds' movies.
Bonjour- I love coming across scenes like this.
Crafty-I used to point out scenes like this all the time to my passengers but most of them didn't seem to get the same thrill from them that I do- I probably drove them nuts but I kept pointing things out anyway.
Carol- thank you.
Thom-I thought it looked pretty cool. I'll miss being able to drive all over the county every day seeing all sorts of interesting photo opportunities like this.
Kathy-the first time I noticed it, it was perfect, but the timing wasn't- I had a bus load of people on. Oh well, such is life I guess. Thanks for stopping by!
