I turned in my resignation this afternoon, effective on November 2nd. Even though I have been off on disability since the beginning of June and have not worked in nearly five months now, they still wanted two weeks notice. Not a problem. I just changed the date on the letter I'd written. So, I am no longer a bus driver.

Sorry to hear that Cindy, you so loved your job. What Thom said though, you health is more important. Anyway I know God has something more important for you to do and it will be so fun that you will not miss driving your bus.

These pictures are very beautiful. I can relate to the whole disability and resignation thing. I went through it 12 yrs ago and never looked back.
I wish you the best.

This is not an end it is a new beginning.
God has many things in store for you yet.

Thom- thank you, I know it's a new beginning. Ooops about the award- haven't been on here in several days, will be over shortly to check it out. Thank you!
Bill- I know I will miss my job, but I won't miss driving in some of the awful winter conditions. We shut down twice that I can remember in over 10 years, though there were an awful lot more times that we should have been closed. I definitely will not miss that! And, I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next for me.
Libby- me too! I know it's coming!
James- thank you. I don't really regret it either- there wasn't much choice in the matter and I know that there is only something good ahead- God does not close one door without opening another.
Dr. John- you are so right!
